Zugegeben: Der Titel ist diskutabel. „Radical Children’s Film and Television“ ist der Titel eines Sammelbandes zur Frage, was „radikaler“ Kinderfilm heute sein kann: politisch, unbequem oder poetisch? Als Raum für „radikale“ Inhalte und Perspektiven kommt Kinderfilmfestivals, darunter auch die Erfahrungen von DOXS RUHR, in dieser Publikation eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Eine Empfehlung: weniger ob des Framings als „radikal“, sondern vielmehr aufgrund des Sichtbarmachens der Bedeutung experimenteller, widerständiger und unkonventioneller Formen im Kinderfilm.
